Cost of surgery in a private hospital (Warringal Private Hospital and Victorian Day Procedure Centre)

The cost of surgery at private hospitals, including Warringal Private Hospital and the Victorian Day Procedure Centre, depends on the procedure.

For insured patients, Medicare and private health insurance will cover most of the surgeon’s fees. Ms Adele Burgess and Dr David Proud typically charge a known gap fee, based on the complexity of the procedure; this specific fee will be outlined with an informed financial consent.
